Steam Loco Hauled Evening Safari Special train on round trip basis from Siliguri Junction to Rongtong and back to Siliguri Junction has been introduced on 16.12.2018. This train passes through magnificent Mahananda Wild Life Sanctuary with Heritage NG Steam loco & Heritage Dining car ( Tenzing Norgay). Passengers can visit Sukna photo gallery during stoppage at Sukna for watering.
Composition of the train is Steam loco + CDR + FC and fare per person in CDR- Rs.1200/- & in FC-Rs.1000/-
The train runs daily from SGUJ at 15:00 hrs , SN 15:35 hrs and RTG at 16:20 hrs. Return journey from RTG at 16:45, SN 17:20 hrs and SGUJ at 17:55 hrs
